Description

You will manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure SQL Server instances, including AlwaysOn availability groups and failover clustering.
• Monitor system health by analyzing memory, locks, I/O, response times, wait events, and background processes.
• Manage database backup, recovery, and DR planning, ensuring all databases are backed up through Rubrics.
• Automate regular processes, maintain SQL Server Agent jobs, and troubleshoot failed maintenance tasks.
• Resolve daily alerts related to disk space, CPU usage, and deadlocks, and execute database migrations.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in SQL Server administration.
• Expertise in SQL Server installation and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with CSG database migrations.
• Proficiency in creating and testing SSIS packages for data movement.
• Ability to implement Microsoft SQL Server best practices for system design.
• Experience managing service packs, updates, and maintenance plans.
• Any Graduate degree.
