Description

You will manage MS SQL Server and AWS cloud database infrastructure, leading migrations and ensuring high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer MS SQL Server (2016/2019/2022) and AWS RDS, handling performance tuning, security, and capacity planning.
• Execute database migrations to AWS, including migrating MongoDB to DocumentDB and on-premises workloads using AWS DMS.
• Build and manage RDS infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript/Python/Java) integrated with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain high-performance batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Databricks Delta Live Tables.
• Manage incident, problem, and change processes within ITIL standards, utilizing ServiceNow and Foglight for monitoring.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an MS SQL Server Developer/DBA.
• Strong expertise in AWS RDS administration, including security and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS DMS, AWS CDK, and database migration strategies.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript, and SQL for infrastructure and pipeline development.
• Experience with PySpark, Databricks Delta Live Tables, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, JIRA, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and disaster recovery solutions.

Preferred Skills

• MS SQL Server certification (2016/2019/2022).
