Description

You will manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server database environments to ensure performance, availability, and security for critical applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances.
• Create and manage databases, tables, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Monitor system performance and proactively tune queries, indexes, and resource usage.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate tasks using T-SQL, PowerShell, and SQL Server Agent jobs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2012–2019/2022 and Azure SQL Database.
• Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) technologies.
• Familiarity with Windows Server administration and Active Directory integration.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SQL Profiler, Redgate, SolarWinds, or SentryOne.

Preferred Skills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
