Description

You will manage and optimize SQL Server database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization for critical workloads.
• Manage backup, restore, and high availability/disaster recovery strategies.
• Implement automation using PowerShell or Python scripts.
• Integrate database operations with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL development and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with cloud database services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for automation tasks.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD workflows and Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or Redshift.
