Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances and related services.
• Execute database backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor database health, optimize queries, indexes, and execution plans for performance.
• Manage database security, including user access, roles, and permissions.
• Automate routine administration tasks using PowerShell and SQL Server Agent.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
• Strong expertise in SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of High Availability technologies: Always On, Replication, and Log Shipping.
• Proficiency in database security management and access control.
• Experience with SQL Server monitoring, troubleshooting, and production incident resolution.
• Ability to collaborate with developers to optimize database design and SQL code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure SQL Database or SQL Managed Instance.
• Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS.
• Exposure to cloud database administration and DevOps practices.
