Description

You will manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments across multiple versions and operating systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure SQL Server versions (2005-2017) on 32-bit and x64-bit systems.
• Execute database migrations, software upgrades, and apply service packs and patches.
• Manage high availability and disaster recovery using Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring, and Clustering.
• Perform system performance tuning for SQL queries and stored procedures using SQL Profiler, DMV, and Resource Governor.
• Maintain database integrity through backup, restore, recovery, index rebuilding, and maintenance plans.

Required Skills

• 3 to 7 years of Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration experience.
• Proficiency with SQL Management Studio, Enterprise Manager, and Query Analyzer.
• Hands-on experience with Always On availability groups in SQL Server 2012 through 2017.
• Experience implementing Snapshot, Transactional, and Merge replication models.
• Technical knowledge of SQL Server Clustering in Active/Passive configurations.
• Ability to audit database and security configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using Windows performance monitor and Activity Monitor.
• Fluency in Spanish for customer communication and technical correspondence.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
