Description

You will manage, optimize, and support SQL Server and Azure database platforms as the L3 escalation point.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Design and maintain HA/DR solutions using Always On, Geo-replication, and Azure Site Recovery.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, T-SQL, and Azure CLI to streamline operations.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Query Store.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement permanent fixes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of database administration experience.
• Expertise in T-SQL and PowerShell for automation.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency managing Cosmos DB and Azure Database services.
• Experience with performance tuning, backup/restore, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of database security, including encryption, auditing, and RBAC.
• Experience implementing HA/DR solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
