Description

You will manage large-scale database environments, lead complex migrations, and drive service improvements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage production support, application upgrades, patches, and capacity planning for large-scale databases.
• Execute database migrations, builds, and decommissioning in coordination with application owners.
• Implement disaster recovery solutions and perform deep performance analysis.
• Lead technical projects and drive service improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of total IT experience with at least 5 years in SQL DBA roles.
• 4+ years of experience in L3 or Subject Matter Expert (SME) support roles.
• Expertise in MSSQL architecture, internals, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience managing large databases ranging from 5TB to 20TB.
• Hands-on experience with HA/DR solutions including Always On, Replication, and clustering.
• Proficiency in T-SQL scripting and automation using PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services including RDS, S3, and Redshift.
• Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• SQL Server development background.
• Experience with Snowflake, Cloudera, or PowerBI.
