Description

You will manage and optimize SQL and Oracle database environments to support application development teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage database schemas, including creation, inserts, and deletes.
• Perform database tuning and maintenance to ensure system availability and performance.
• Collaborate with developers to analyze user requirements and model data structures.
• Write complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and update data.
• Manage database security, including roles, privileges, synonyms, and database links.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server (2016, 2019, 2022) and Oracle 19c.
• Proficiency with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures, and unit testing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and Oracle data dictionary views.
• 5 years of experience using database monitoring tools.
• 5 years of experience with Redgate Comparison tool.
• 3 years of experience in logical database design.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Informatica.
• Ability to navigate and query relational databases for report development.

Preferred Skills

• Certification as a MS SQL DBA.
• Experience with PowerBI for reporting or database analysis.
• Experience supporting Oracle databases for Java applications.
