Description

Manage and maintain database infrastructure across Azure and AWS to meet defined SLAs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage database architecture, configuration, and capacity planning.
• Optimize PostgreSQL and MSSQL performance to reduce operational costs.
• Execute patching, upgrades, and change control activities with thorough documentation.
• Ensure data integrity and availability through proactive monitoring, backups, and failover strategies.
• Mentor developers on database design, programming, and query tuning.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with AWS RDS and Aurora.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on management of PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience managing databases within Azure and AWS environments.
• Ability to write PL/SQL code for data migration, loading, and analysis.
• Knowledge of Oracle database systems.
• Experience implementing Disaster Recovery strategies in the cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree.
