Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of the database infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain relational database environments according to standards.
• Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query refinement.
• Manage backup and recovery strategies to maintain data integrity and availability.
• Implement and enforce security controls, including access management and auditing.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline routine database administration tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA and/or Developer in enterprise environments.
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, including complex query development and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of SQL Server architecture and high availability solutions (AlwaysOn, clustering, replication).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell for automation and administrative optimization.
• Solid grasp of database security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption).
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Familiarity with backup and recovery frameworks.
• Experience with SQL, Ansible, Terraform, Python, AWS, and GCP.
