Description

You will manage and optimize MSSQL and other RDBMS platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute database installation, upgrades, migrations, patching, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Configure and troubleshoot high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Always-On, Failover clusters, log shipping, and replication.
  • Manage cloud databases across Azure, AWS, and GCP in PaaS and IaaS models.
  • Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize server architecture.
  • Perform database migrations from on-premises environments to Azure.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator specializing in MSSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure SQL databases in PaaS and IaaS environments.
  • Proven track record of configuring HA/DR solutions in Azure.
  • Experience with Azure, MySQL, Sybase, or Postgres.
  • Knowledge of DB server architecture and core database concepts.
  • Experience migrating databases from on-premises to cloud platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience using Ansible for automation.
