Description

You manage the full lifecycle of Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across production environments.
• Execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Monitor database performance, optimize queries, indexes, and execution plans to resolve bottlenecks.
• Manage database security, user access, roles, and permissions in compliance with organizational standards.
• Configure and support High Availability technologies including Always On, Replication, and Log Shipping.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers.
• Expertise in performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
• Proven experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Knowledge of High Availability solutions such as Always On, Replication, and Log Shipping.
• Experience troubleshooting production incidents and resolving database performance issues.
• Understanding of database security models and access management.
• Ability to automate routine administration tasks using SQL Server Agent or PowerShell.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure SQL Database or SQL Managed Instance.
• Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS for data integration and reporting.
• Exposure to cloud database administration and DevOps practices.
