Description

Manage the lifecycle of relational databases, from design and configuration to ongoing administration and replication.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and replicate relational databases to meet system requirements.
• Manage database backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
• Perform continuous performance tuning and resource monitoring.
• Document logical and physical system architecture components using technical diagramming tools.
• Secure and handle Personally Identifiable Information (PII) within web applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration, including configuration and design.
• 5+ years of experience managing database tools, utilities, and performance tuning.
• 5+ years of experience managing database backup and recovery operations.
• 5+ years of experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience using software tools to produce detailed technical architecture diagrams.
• 2+ years of experience handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with relational database replication strategies.
• Familiarity with technical diagramming standards.

Education

Any Graduate degree.
