Description

You will manage and support large-scale, 24x7 transactional SQL Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Support SQL Server versions ranging from 2008 through 2019.
• Manage Always On Multi Subnet environments for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Document database designs, data flow diagrams, processes, and data conversion specifications.
• Perform query tuning and performance optimization to maintain database health.
• Plan workloads and manage organizational time to meet delivery commitments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a SQL DBA or in a similar database administration role.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and its supported features.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and query languages.
• Proven experience managing large transactional databases in 24x7 production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Always On Multi Subnet configurations (SQL Server 2016 and newer).
• Advanced problem-solving skills focused on database performance tuning.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PowerShell automation.
• Knowledge of the Azure SQL Platform.
