Description

You will manage and modernize SQL Server and Azure SQL environments. You will own the release pipeline for database operations and ensure high availability.

Responsibilities

• Provision new Azure SQL databases and manage existing SQL Server instances.
• Execute backup and restore operations for Azure SQL databases.
• Implement disaster recovery strategies to ensure data and application availability.
• Migrate workloads to Azure SQL Managed Instance to modernize applications.
• Troubleshoot and correct database issues in real time.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of IT experience.
• Hands-on experience managing SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining SQL Server systems in Azure environments.
• Experience with database migrations.
• Experience with portfolio or fund accounting systems, specifically Investran.
• Monitor performance using Azure Monitor to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to automate common data management tasks using scripting languages.
