Description

You will design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and manage data workflows within a Databricks environment.

Since is_remote, hybrid, and on_site are all 0, no work-mode line is included.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications through collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Design and maintain SQL databases, tables, views, and schemas using data modeling best practices.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Perform database administration tasks including backups, security, and user access management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues while maintaining technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 2 to 6 years of experience in Databricks platform administration and development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database management.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Delta Lake and Spark SQL.
• Working knowledge of Apache Spark components.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA.
