Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize database software to ensure performance, availability, and functional correctness within a healthcare data environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain database software to meet functional, performance, and availability goals.
• Write complex reports and queries against Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Design, build, and manage ETL processes using SSIS.
• Support team peers and adhere to established development standards.
• Provide technical recommendations regarding data architecture and normalization.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience writing reports against Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• 9+ years of experience working with data in a healthcare-related field.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including complex queries and stored procedures.
• 6+ years of experience with source control systems (GIT, SVN, or TFS).
• Hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
• Ability to understand and work with complicated, highly normalized databases.
• Critical thinking and strong analytical skills.
