Develop, maintain, and deliver business systems applications while defining effective programming approaches.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design functional application architecture and technical specifications.
• Write code, conduct code reviews, and develop unit test cases to ensure compliance with functional requirements.
• Maintain and improve system performance by debugging source code and polishing feature sets.
• Partner with internal business clients and IT staff to document program objectives and communicate application issues.
• Mentor junior or peer developers and lead technical aspects of projects as required.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of related experience in software development.
• Extensive experience developing web applications and middle-tier layers.
• Proficiency in relational database programming using SQL, DDL, and T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2012/2014 and RDBMS skills.
• Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) design.
• Experience with source code management tools such as TFS 2013.
• Experience in software development and unit testing for both website and desktop applications.
• Proficiency with third-party tools like Telerik.

Preferred Skills

• Experience serving as a technical lead for complex projects.
