Description

Design, implement, and manage SQL queries and data models for the reference data modeling team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage SQL queries for multiple stakeholders.
• Create logical and physical data models using standard naming conventions.
• Resolve data quality and integrity issues within datasets.
• Develop data mappings and execute migrations from existing systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Agile teams on feature design.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with diverse database technologies.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL.
• Expertise in SQL tuning and optimization using explain plans and trace files.
• Experience with partitioning and indexing strategies for performance.
• Proven ability to perform schema refinement and analyze query plans.
• Experience understanding complex source system data structures, preferably in Financial Services.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance in time-critical environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and Liquibase.
