Description

Develop and maintain applications using Object-Oriented Programming principles, with a focus on PowerBuilder or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Write code and develop features using PowerBuilder.
• Extract and manipulate data from relational databases for reporting.
• Analyze complex problems to devise efficient software solutions.
• Debug, fix bugs, and resolve user issues to enhance system performance.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and sustainment.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle including requirements definition, design, development, test, and deployment.
• Ability to work within Windows and IIS environments.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in Data Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with PowerBuilder.
