Description

You will develop, maintain, and support SQL applications within a healthcare environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program components of SQL applications.
• Mine data from Teradata using SQL assistants and manage Teradata namespaces.
• Write and review design specifications, code, and unit tests independently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve medium to high complexity application defects.
• Document all application components and processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience in software development and installation in an online environment.
• Extensive experience in SQL development.
• Proficiency with MS SQL and Teradata models.
• Experience with ETL processes and SSIS packages.
• Knowledge of Bulk Data Transfer and Job Monitor.
• Working knowledge of XML and Javascript.
• Mandatory experience working with healthcare clients.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle.
• Familiarity with command differences between MS SQL and Teradata.
