Description

You will own the design, creation, and implementation of database systems and applications, supporting internal systems through systematic software engineering.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and views using T-SQL.
• Analyze and resolve performance issues through query, schema, and index optimization.
• Provide technical support and guidance to testing teams during the development lifecycle.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to modernize existing applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SQL development.
• Strong proficiency with T-SQL and expertise in building complex SQL queries.
• Deep knowledge of relational database best practices and schema optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot common database issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in an agile environment using Azure DevOps and Azure pipelines.
• Background in Health Care or Health Insurance environments, including Claims and NDW/VBP.
