Description

You will modernize legacy data portals by converting Visual Basic validation logic into efficient T-SQL statements. You own the development of complex queries, views, and stored procedures that meet strict coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Convert legacy VB-based validation code into T-SQL statements for data modernization.
• Develop SQL queries featuring complex joins, views, and stored procedures.
• Write code modules that adhere to established coding standards and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with business users and IT staff to review and validate legacy logic.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience developing Transact-SQL (T-SQL, SQL Server) queries.
• Expertise in complex joins, views, and stored procedures.
• 4+ years of experience developing data-intensive applications with SQL database back-ends.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and T-SQL.
• Experience working within SDLC methodologies.
• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of programming experience or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Visual Basic programming language.
• Ability to define coding standards and assist junior programmers with coaching.
• Experience with interface implementation.
