Description

You will migrate database logic from Oracle to Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Convert Oracle stored procedures, packages, and functions into SQL Server equivalents.
• Perform unit testing to validate converted packages and procedures.
• Execute data migration tasks to move data between database systems.
• Apply database design principles and data modeling techniques to support migration efforts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer.
• Proven experience with database migration projects moving data from one platform to another.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Strong experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience writing Oracle stored procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS and database design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with healthcare data systems or public health data.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and security best practices.
