Description

• Database Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain complex relational database schemas, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and data integrity across all production environments.
• Query Optimization: Write, tune, and debug complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions to support high-traffic applications and minimize system latency.
• Data Integration: Manage ETL processes by building robust SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load data from disparate sources into centralized data warehouses.
• Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights using SSRS or Power BI.
• System Maintenance: Proactively monitor database health, manage index fragmentation, implement security patches, and execute disaster recovery protocols to ensure 99.9% uptime.
• Collaboration: Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to junior developers and participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to industry best practices and internal coding standards.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SQL development within a professional enterprise environment is mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in T-SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions, is essential for daily tasks.
• Tooling Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Profiler, and database tuning advisor tools is required.
• ETL Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in designing and maintaining complex ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Performance Tuning: Strong background in analyzing execution plans, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing indexing strategies to boost query performance significantly.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of an agile team are critical for project delivery.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred
