Description

Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions for investment banking financial reporting. Own the full data lifecycle from conceptual modeling to high-availability production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and manage data integration processes using cloud-based tools and near real-time messaging systems.
• Translate stakeholder reporting needs into technical specifications, applying investment banking expertise to meet financial reporting standards.
• Optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of data services.
• Document data models, integration processes, and reporting methodologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database development with extensive proficiency in SQL scripts.
• Proven expertise in data modeling and database design.
• Direct experience in investment banking financial reporting.
• Proficiency with QuickSight reporting tools.
• Experience with near real-time messaging data processing tools such as Kafka.
• Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and performance tuning.
• Bachelor's degree.
