Description

You will own the development, administration, and optimization of database systems across MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft Azure SQL environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support application data manipulation.
• Perform database tuning and optimization to enhance query performance and reduce response time.
• Implement database changes, upgrades, and security processes with minimal downtime.
• Monitor system health, diagnose errors, and ensure high availability of database servers.
• Create automation for recurring tasks and generate reports and dashboards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development and administration.
• 1+ years of specific experience with MySQL.
• 3+ years of specific experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Database.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Strong skills in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database automation and scripting.
• Ability to manage on-call support rotations.
