Description

You will design, implement, and manage data solutions for complex financial services structures within the reference data modeling team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage SQL queries for consumption by multiple stakeholders.
• Create and enhance logical and physical data models using standard naming conventions.
• Detect and resolve data quality and integrity issues within datasets.
• Develop data mappings from existing systems to new structures and execute migrations.
• Perform SQL tuning and optimization using explain plans, trace files, partitioning, and indexing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience working with different database technologies.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL.
• Proven experience in query tuning, schema refinement, and running query plans.
• Experience with data migration and building database scripts.
• Ability to understand complex source system data structures, preferably in Financial Services.
• Experience working within Agile scrum teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD and Liquibase.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake.
