Description
You will design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support healthcare data needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration across multiple systems.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing SQL code and queries to improve performance and reliability.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure governance in alignment with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
- Document data models, workflows, and processes for internal use and compliance.
- Collaborate with data analysts, report developers, and engineering teams on database architecture and analytics initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in SQL development, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, including stored procedures, views, joins, temp tables, and common table expressions.
- Deep knowledge of query optimization and dynamic queries.
- Strong understanding of relational database design using SQL Server.
- Experience managing and analyzing data from internal and external sources.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, or CPT.
- Ability to develop ETL processes.
- Experience working with Data Analysts.
