Description

You will design, develop, and optimize database structures and logic within MS SQL Server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write complex queries, stored procedures, user-defined functions (UDFs), and triggers for front-end applications.
• Design database tables and other core database objects.
• Manage database maintenance including backups and restores.
• Analyze and optimize I/O and CPU bottlenecks to improve system performance.
• Profile server resource usage to identify and resolve performance issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with large-scale databases.
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server.
• Advanced T-SQL knowledge, including transactions, error handling, CTEs, Row_Number/Over, and hierarchical data sets.
• Deep understanding of indexes, locks, execution plans, and file stats.
• Proven experience in MS SQL Server performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SQL programming and debugging.
• Working knowledge of load balancing.
• Ability to design and develop complex database objects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using profiling tools to optimize server resource usage.
