Description

You will act as both an individual contributor and technical lead for a small development team, managing projects from requirements gathering through to solution architecture and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead small development teams and manage project lifecycles including task management and test plans.
• Troubleshoot and triage application issues, providing business day support and participating in an overnight support rotation.
• Collaborate with internal investment teams, operations personnel, and external vendors to build technical solutions.
• Support job processing streams and scheduling environments.
• Manage multiple project types simultaneously, ranging from short-term tasks to long-term development.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of relational database development, including database design, implementation, and SQL query skills.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft development tools, including C#.NET and ASP.NET MVC.
• Proficiency with Web development tools: HTML5, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, LINQ, CSS, and Kendo UI/Telerik.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for production applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar curriculum.
• Experience working within Agile scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Microsoft Azure, or Power BI.
• Background in Investment Management or developing financial applications for equity investments.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Data Warehousing.
