Description

You will manage and optimize database logic and data integrity within a live production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Modify and maintain T-SQL stored procedures, views, user-defined functions, and SSIS packages.
• Triage and resolve production support tickets related to incorrect or missing data.
• Investigate data integrity issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply SQL-based fixes.
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning for high-traffic queries.
• Document code and fixes for audit, compliance, and team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and database development.
• Advanced T-SQL skills including CTEs, window functions, joins, dynamic SQL, and error handling.
• Proficiency with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server versions 2012 and later.
• Experience with SSIS, including modifying existing packages, debugging, and understanding workflows.
• 5 years of experience using developer tools such as Visual Studio and SSRS.
• Experience using TFS for source control.
• Solid understanding of data structures, relational modeling, and normalization.
• Practical experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Development experience using C#, .NET, or HTML.
• Experience developing new SSIS/SSRS packages.
• SQL certification.
