Role Overview:

This role is for an experienced QA professional with a strong background in manual testing and some exposure to automation. The individual will be responsible for end-to-end test planning and execution, ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications, with a focus on utilizing SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process, plan, organize, and implement comprehensive testing efforts.
• Develop detailed test plans, test data, and test cases, and execute them against various software components.
• Perform system analysis, assessment, programming, and troubleshooting of software applications.
• Execute hands-on, end-to-end test planning and execution.
• Write complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures for data validation and testing purposes.
• Utilize HP ALM and JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and project collaboration.
• Work effectively within an Agile software development environment.
• Apply a firm understanding of Testing concepts and Quality Assurance principles throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing.
• Some automation experience is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in the development of test plans, test data, and test cases.
• Extensive experience in system analysis, assessment, programming, and troubleshooting of software applications.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end test planning and execution.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures.
• Experience using HP ALM and JIRA.
• Hands-on experience in Agile software development.
• Firm understanding of Testing concepts and Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of Manual Testing Processes and Management.
• Familiarity with Automated QA - TestComplete.

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of overall experience
