Description

Qualifications:

• Public Trust clearance with adjudication within the last three years or eligible to reactivate clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a field of study applicable to the position with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• A minimum 8 years of experience with SQL Server database administration
• Must be able to install, configure, and maintain database management systems according to the project requirements
• Able to perform regular backups of all databases to ensure data integrity and availability
• Able to implement and maintain database security measures, including user access control and encryption
• Able to monitor database performance and optimize queries and indexes for improved efficiency
• Able to handle database migrations and upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss; can troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions
• Requires good communication skills to collaborate with other teams, such as application developers and system administrators, to ensure seamless integration and performance
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating System Experience in upgrading major database instances
• Ability to work closely with system admins and ISSO on application upgrades, documentation and STIG remediation
