Description

Manage and administer SQL Server databases within an AWS environment. You will own database integrity, performance, and security while collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with development teams.
• Design and implement database security measures and monitor performance metrics.
• Execute regular backup and recovery operations to maintain data safety.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions based on their requirements.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10 years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration.
• AWS certification.
• Expertise in SQL Server database migration to AWS.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server Always On Availability Groups (AOAG).
• Experience managing High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) configurations.
• Proven performance tuning and optimization expertise.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
