Description

You will manage and optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments within a hybrid data architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL systems, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery through clustering and Always On.
• Tune SQL Server internals for performance and execute backup and recovery procedures.
• Implement and maintain PostgreSQL tuning, replication, and operational management strategies.
• Support Snowflake integration and hybrid/cloud data architectures.
• Automate database operations and scripting using Python, T-SQL, PowerShell, or Bash.

Required Skills

• 5–7+ years of experience managing SQL Server and PostgreSQL systems.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server internals, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL tuning, replication, and operational management.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, T-SQL, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience implementing HA/DR strategies with clustering and Always On.
• Strong skills in Snowflake and hybrid/cloud data architectures.
• Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL database administration.
• Proficiency in Python, T-SQL, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake integration.
