Description

You will lead data migration efforts from various sources, including Oracle and MS Access, into the AMANDA database.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data from Oracle and MS Access databases to MS SQL Server.
• Map existing database fields to AMANDA table structures and document mappings.
• Develop, execute, and fine-tune data migration plans and scripts to improve performance.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to identify data gaps and with QA teams to validate migration accuracy.
• Cleanse source data using scripts and reports to ensure data integrity.
• Manage migration scripts using version control and adhere to project-level scripting standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL statements and T-SQL.
• Proficiency in writing SQL stored procedures and functions.
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS.
• Ability to tune SQL queries for performance optimization.
• Experience using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with version management tools such as Git.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL Server database structures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AMANDA solution from Granicus.
• Knowledge of Kanban.
