Description

You design and optimize enterprise-level data storage solutions within Microsoft SQL Server, mapping business needs to technical architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end data warehouse structures and architectural designs in SQL Server.
• Design logical and physical data models along with robust ETL/ELT workflows.
• Tune SQL queries, indexes, and stored procedures to ensure fast data retrieval.
• Define data standards, security policies, and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or solution architecture.
• Expert-level SQL Server (T-SQL) proficiency and query plan analysis.
• Proficient in data modeling using tools like ER/Studio or Erwin.
• Strong ability to design loading patterns and indexing strategies.
• Experience ensuring data integrity and governance.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to define technical specifications.
