Description

You design and optimize enterprise-level data storage solutions, mapping business requirements to technical architectures within Microsoft SQL Server.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end data warehouse structures and logical/physical data models.
• Design robust ETL/ELT workflows and loading patterns.
• Tune SQL queries, indexes, and stored procedures using query plan analysis for performance optimization.
• Define data standards, security policies, and documentation to ensure compliance and integrity.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or solution architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Strong ability in query plan analysis and performance tuning.
• Proficient in data modeling using tools such as ER/Studio or Erwin.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT workflows.
• Knowledge of data governance and security policies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data solutions.
