Description

You will manage Microsoft SQL Server database administration within a Windows environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multiple SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, and software upgrades.
• Design and implement backup, recovery, archiving, and conversion strategies.
• Optimize database performance through tuning and the implementation of new features.
• Manage automated backups and scheduled SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Execute centralized monitoring, patching, and performance reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator on SQL Server.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL on SQL Server.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server 2016 or higher.
• 2+ years of experience with Windows Server 2016 or higher.
• 2+ years of experience with C#, PowerShell, Python, and/or .Net scripting.
• Ability to work non-business hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Experience with MySQL and/or Teradata.
• Microsoft Certifications.
