Description

You will own the administration and support of Microsoft SQL Server environments, including VM-based deployments across distributed, multi-datacenter locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform database installation, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance.
• Configure and manage clustering, replication, log shipping, and high availability setups.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
• Support DevOps tools including Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Maven, and Nginx.
• Lead incident resolution, provide Tier III production support, and develop technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Strong experience with SQL Server administration (on-prem and cloud).
• Proficiency in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server clustering, replication, and log shipping.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Maven, Nginx.
• Familiarity with Unix, Linux, and virtualized infrastructure.
• Ability to collaborate with application, network, IIS, and storage teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Cloud and Oracle database environments.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning and database architecture.
