Description

You will administer and support SQL Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SQL Server versions 2012 through the latest.
• Execute database migration processes using tools like Data Migration Assistant, backup/restore, AlwaysOn, or log shipping.
• Develop and implement T-SQL scripts for system automation.
• Manage core SQL Server features including jobs, indexes, users/roles, and performance plans.
• Support database operations across on-premises and hybrid infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience with SQL Server administration and support.
• 5+ years proficiency in T-SQL and scripting for automation.
• 5+ years working knowledge of SQL Server features (jobs, indexes, users/roles, performance plans).
• 5+ years experience supporting on-premises and/or hybrid environments.
• 5+ years experience with database migration tools (e.g., Data Migration Assistant, Backup/Restore, Log Shipping, Always On).
• 5+ years strong understanding of SQL Server tools: SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Profiler.
• 5+ years experience with cloud-based migration (Azure SQL, AWS RDS for SQL Server).
• SQL Server, Sql, Aws, Cloud Computing, Sql Profiler, Ssms, Ssis, Ssrs.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
