Description

You will administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor database performance and implement tuning to resolve issues.
• Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
• Perform regular backups, restores, and data migrations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with policies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server 2016/2019 and T-SQL.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience with AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Log Shipping, and Replication.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOX or HIPAA.
