Description

Manage and optimize SQL Server databases within a shared services environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage database architecture, including hardware configuration and logical/physical layouts.
• Monitor multiple databases and handle load balancing to ensure stability.
• Support application development teams with database administration and production operations.
• Execute database security, auditing, and performance management protocols.
• Monitor SSRS reports and ETL (SSIS) code for accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of post-graduate experience in SQL Server Database Administration.
• 3+ years of experience as a development/applications DBA.
• 5+ years of SQL Server performance tuning.
• 3+ years of experience with high-performance databases and Always-On technology.
• 3+ years of experience monitoring SSRS reports and SSIS code.
• 2+ years of T-SQL coding, support, and performance troubleshooting.
• 2+ years of PowerShell scripting for Windows.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Financial Services or Risk Applications.
