Description

Manage and maintain critical SQL Server environments for government applications, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions on Windows Cluster environments.
• Tune and optimize SQL Server performance across production systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services and PowerBI Server, including scaled-out deployments.
• Troubleshoot and maintain SQL Server Integration Services packages and connectivity.
• Translate business needs into standard SQL solutions to support critical public safety applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with SQL Server versions 2012 to 2025 installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
• 7+ years of experience translating business needs into industry-standard SQL solutions.
• 7+ years of experience designing, installing, and maintaining HA/DR solutions on clustered Windows environments.
• 7+ years of experience in SQL Server Performance Tuning and Optimization.
• 7+ years supporting Critical Public Safety Applications for Government Agencies (e.g., Dept of Corrections, Homeland Security).
• 7+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and PowerBI Server deployments.
• 7+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting SQL Server Integration Services.
• Proficiency with scripting tools, specifically T-SQL and PowerShell.
• 3+ months of experience with Azure or Azure SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields.
