Description

You will manage and maintain SQL Server environments for high-volume transactional data.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server 2016–2022, focusing on query tuning and indexing for performance optimization.
• Perform database maintenance, including DBCC checks, index rebuilds, and implementing shrink/cleanup strategies.
• Manage backup, restore operations, and maintain High Availability (HA)/Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities.
• Implement and manage SQL Security and Role-Based Access Control.
• Monitor and manage SQL Agent jobs and ETL schedules for scheduled batch imports and API feed integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server DBA tasks.
• Proficiency in Sql, Sql Server Dba, and ETL processes.
• Experience optimizing performance on large transactional databases (retail or hospitality).
• Knowledge of database maintenance routines (index rebuilds, cleanup).
• Familiarity with SQL Security and Role-Based Access Control implementation.
• Experience troubleshooting sync issues between disparate systems.
• Understanding of ERP systems and related data structures.
• Ability to interpret Point-of-Sale (POS) data structures.
