Description

You manage the implementation, configuration, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server databases across the full lifecycle, from development to production.
• Configure and maintain database servers, monitoring system health, security, and performance.
• Execute data modeling, data loads, and schema refinement to support development teams.
• Upgrade database versions from 2016/2019 to 2022.
• Automate regular processes, document changes, and assist developers with complex query tuning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of MS SQL Server Administration experience.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Hands-on experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Ability to perform data modeling and support data warehouse operations.
