Description

Manage the development, sustainment, and performance of SQL Server 2019 and 2016 environments. Own the full lifecycle of database operations, from installation to security and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure new SQL Server 2019 instances while supporting existing 2016 environments.
• Develop and optimize SQL stored procedures, complex queries, and custom reports for development teams.
• Execute data loads, perform data modeling, and ensure operational readiness.
• Manage backup strategies and test recovery processes to meet RPO and RTO requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to tune database performance, enforce security, and maintain health.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Database Administrator for Microsoft Server.
• Expertise in SQL Server 2019 and 2016.
• Strong proficiency in writing SQL stored procedures and complex queries.
• Experience with data modeling and data profiling.
• Proven ability to manage database security, health, and performance tuning.
• Experience managing database backup and recovery strategies.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB administration.
• Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Master Data Services.
• Familiarity with Power BI and R.
