Description

You will manage and optimize large-scale SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability and supporting migrations.

You will troubleshoot Always On availability groups, clustering, and disaster recovery scenarios. Optimize query performance for databases ranging from 10TB to 30TB. Execute application migrations, database building, and decommissioning in coordination with global application owners. Automate routine DBA tasks and drive service improvement projects using PowerShell, Python, or T-SQL. Implement changes, application upgrades, patches, and capacity planning according to change management processes.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience in SQL Server administration.
• Expertise in table partitioning, maintenance, and MSSQL server internals.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or T-SQL for automation.
• Hands-on experience with query optimization and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience managing large-scale databases (10TB to 30TB).
• Experience with AWS RDS services, including S3 and Redshift.
• Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, or Azure.
• MS certifications on latest MSSQL versions or AWS/Azure certifications.
